Oak Lodge is a stunning ground-floor wooden lodge in Somerset, positioned between Watchet and Minehead. This private, peaceful retreat sits in the corner of a small park with its own large garden and beautiful countryside views. The Somerset location puts you perfectly between coast and country. Just 2 miles from Watchet's harbour and 6 miles from Minehead's beach, you're surrounded by fantastic day trips. Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills offer amazing walks, while Dunster Castle is only 15 minutes away.

Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills offer amazing walks, while Dunster Castle is only 15 minutes away. After exploring, sink into your private hot tub with a glass of something cold – you might even hear the distant whistle of the steam railway.
The accommodation features two comfortable bedrooms – one king-size and one twin, both with their own TVs. The open-plan living area includes a well-equipped kitchen with everything from a dishwasher to steak knives (finally!). The cosy lounge has comfortable sofas and a woodburning stove for those chillier evenings.
Nearby attractions include Dunster Castle (15 minutes), the West Somerset Railway (10 minutes), Tropiquaria Wildlife Park (practically next door) and Blue Anchor Beach (10 minutes) with its free parking – a rare treat at the seaside!
Oak Lodge is perfect for families or couples wanting a relaxing break. The hot tub gets cleaned daily (unlike your bedroom at home) and the beds are so comfortable you might struggle to leave them. Unless the hot tub calls, of course.
