Mike
This is a fantastic little property. Perfect for two (and not small in that respect either). Well appointed, great views, lovely plot, private without being horribly isolated. Easy transport links to the area. Lovely hosts. I think we would both say this is about the best UK cottage we have ever stayed at.
Liam
We had a lovely stay. I took my fiance and our dog (long haired chihuahua, Penelope) and it was perfect. Its lovely and quiet, and apart from greeting us, the owners left us to it (but were available on WhatsApp at any time). We visited the Maypole Inn a few times (dog friendly), popped into Bridgwater for dinner one evening, and went to Clarks Out let Village (dog friendly - we didnt know this until we got there!). There is a huge Sainsburys less than 15 minutes away #helpful

This accommodation and location is perfect if you are holidaying with your dog. We have stayed in dog friendly accommodation before and always found it really stressful as it is very rarely actually dog friendly. Shepherds Croft is perfect; the floors are wipeable but non slip, the garden is really well enclosed, easy to control the temperature wit h a thermostat in every room. Owners are helpful but not intrusive. Overall a lovely, relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.
Louisa
Return visit to this lovely property. Great views, quiet location, fab underfloor heating and a woodburner for extra cosiness. We had a very relaxing week, with walking, reading and board games, which was just what we wanted. Lots of walks nearby, in lovely countryside. North Petherton has a great Fish & Chip shop and an Indian restaurant, which ar e great for takeaways. Cottage Owners very helpful but not intrusive. We will return.

The location was stunning and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. The whole trip was utter bliss and well likely rebook for next year!
