Paul
Delightful week spent in a beautiful part of the country. Cant recommend this property highly enough. Has everything you need for a relaxing break.
Glen
We were looking for a quiet wind-down and chill-out week and that's exactly what we had thanks to Mike and Julie. Spa pool was lovely and relaxing - even in the rain :) We didn't travel around so can't comment on places to visit. The cottage Inn was only a 10 minute walk away and did good food, but be mindful that it currently doesn't open Tues or Weds. And do take the first left AFTER the Cottage Inn, not pig lane opposite it! - we'll remember next time :)
Helen
Perfect holiday lodge! This is the second time we've stayed at Summer Lodge, and we hope to stay many more times. It's just a perfect place for relaxing in a beautiful location, we have loved it.

Beautiful lodge. The owners were very welcoming and not intrusive at all. Loved having the horses in the evening coming up to the garden and our dogs were not even bothered. The jacuzzi was extra special after the long doggies walks in the evening. Would definitely be booking again.

This was the nicest place we've stayed in, in the UK. It was beautifully designed, everything felt luxurious and comfortable, but also practical, we were so impressed. What a honeymoon!!! Fantastic stay, such a beautiful place. The owners were great and left us to it but we knew they were there if we needed them. The quantocks hills were amazing, a great place to walk the dog. Spent the rest of our time in the hot tub. Also definitely recommend The Malt Shovel for lunch or dinner
Annabel
Summer Lodge is the most wonderful place. It is so peaceful and relaxing, but also practical. Our dog loved the garden, plenty to sniff and explore. And it's fully enclosed so we could let her roam without worry. The Lodge is finished to the highest standard and is really luxurious with all the amenities and facilities you could need. Mike and Juli e were so welcoming but unobtrusive on our stay. We enjoyed watching the horses from the garden. We can't wait to return!
Nick
Lovely, specious and perfect for what we wanted. We have two dogs and they enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching the world go by. The local pub was very dog friendly and there is plenty of dog friendly attractions within a reasonable drive. To top off a busy day in the hot tub was just perfect :)
Anthony

The lodge is very well maintained and has all the home comforts you need and set in a quiet and secluded location. Great backdrop of the Quantock Hills. Perfect for taking our 9 month Labrador for walks, he loved it in the woods. Well located to visit local attractions.
Wendy
A beautiful lodge with lovely rural views and friendly owners. The lodge was comfortable, clean, well equipped and perfectly located to take advantage of the Quantock Hills, coastal walks and, a bit further away, Exmoor. The hot tub was perfect to come back to after a day's walking. A great week!
