Dorset Cottage is a stunning 4-bedroom farmhouse tucked away 1.5 miles northwest of Bridport in Dorset. This idyllic country retreat offers breathtaking views across rolling farmland while being just a short hop from town. Set in gorgeous surroundings with walking trails from the doorstep, this place gives you the best of rural Dorset without the isolation. The large enclosed garden is brilliant for dogs (you can bring up to three) and kids alike. The cottage was spacious, well equipped and thoughtfully laid out. It is in a stunning location, remote enough to enjoy the countryside views but still possible to walk to Symondsbury in about 30 minutes and / or a 5 minute drive into Bridport. It was a pleasant surprise the see brand new washing machine, tumble dryer and table tennis table. The be ds deserve a special mention as they were excellent, very large and very comfortable. Overall an excellent cottage for a large family holiday.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, in totally gorgeous surroundings. The house is furnished beautifully and was very warm on a cold January weekend. The hot tub was warm and ready to jump in... But quite hard to work out how to turn it up, and unfortunately there was a problem with the water pressure which meant sometimes we couldn't shower, flu sh the toilet or wash hands. This is apparently due to the cottage being in a rural area and being fed by a spring which affects the water pressure.
