We found this to be an absolutely first class home away from home for our Christmas holiday. Finding a fully decorated tree was a real treat. The property is in an excellent position with stunning sea views and only a short walk into town. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and the two ovens were a real bonus for preparing Christmas dinner. The l ounge was cosy and comfortable as were the bedrooms. Highgrove is a sociable house in which to rest, relax and recuperate. Hot tub definite hit. The house can get hot as the sun is on the back of the property for much of the afternoon so before you go out for the day pull all the curtains and blinds closed and that keeps the house cooler for when you return. We had no problems with the property and w e very much enjoyed our stay and found both the owners and the housekeepers very helpful and informative.

This is a fabulous property. Everything you need for a great break has been thought of. The cleanliness, appliances and decor were all to a super standard. The hot tub is wonderful, and all these things combined made for a really relaxing break.
